William (Bill) Parke Morris of North Charleston, husband of Ardith T. Morris (Lovell) of 42 years entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 surrounded by his family after 18 months of battling cancer.
Born on November 04, 1942 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, William was the son of the late Robert Porter Morris and Mary Alice Ames.
William was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force where he served as a pilot. After leaving the Air Force, he worked with SSA on the S.C. State Ports Authority.
William loved riding his Harley and made many memorable trips. After retirement he gave up the Harley for his Classic Corvette. He loved tinkering with the Corvette and was a member of the Coastal Carolina Corvette Club of Charleston. He had the opportunity to make many great friends and memories.
William is survived by his wife, two daughters; Theresa Wall and Sabrina Thomas (Jeff Clark), two grandchildren; Walker Wall and Parker Wall, two brothers; Paul (Liz) of Portland, Oregon with daughter Lindsay (Rahul) and great niece Samira, Randy (Terri) of St. Regis Falls, New York, three brothers in-law; Butch, Joey (Nancy), and Mike (Vera) along with many nieces and nephews.
The Service will be held at Creekside Church at 506 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445 on May 15, 2021 at 2 P.M. There will be a gathering after the service in the Fellowship Hall of Creekside Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in William’s memory may be sent to St. Jude (Bill’s favorite) or any other charity.
