Yvonne Violet Grau

Yvonne V. Grau (Lovey) passed peacefully on March 24, 2025, in the hospice facility in Lexington South Carolina, after a long goodbye from complications related to Parkinson's disease. Born September 15, 1943, in Sutton-At-Hone, Kent, England. Yvonne spent her early life in Kent. Graduating from the Maidstone School of Arts and Crafts, she embarked on various career paths, most notably as a fashion designer in London. After arriving in the USA, she had numerous jobs from co-owner of a delicatessen in New York City to a manager and buyer of 12 boutique style stores. She will be greatly missed by family in England and friends in the USA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Violet, and her brother, Michael.

Yvonne is survived by her husband Rudolf (Rolf) , several nieces, and cousins; and a wide circle of family and friends who were a meaningful part of her life.
